Introducing the Biogas / Digestion Gas Compressor

Fueled by sewage sludge and waste digestion gas

We have provided many customers with gas compressors for boosting biogas and digestion gas compression. It is used for the gas engines of cogeneration equipment (combined heat and power equipment) and to boost compression in fuel gas in fuel cells.

About biomass (biogas)

What is biomass?

Biomass is a biological resource produced by photosynthesis. A typical example is a plant.
Although fossil resources such as oil and coal are limited, biomass can continue to be produced indefinitely as long as there is sun, water, carbon dioxide, and plants.
Biomass needs to be converted into a form that is easy to use as energy. Gasified biomass is called biogas.

Benefits of biomass

  1. Biomass, an eternal resource
Biomass is a renewable resource that will never run out as long as there is an environment in which plants can photosynthesize.
  2. Biomass, friendly to the global environment
Biomass is also expected to play an effective role in the future in preventing global warming.
  3. Biomass as a new business
A new industry utilizing biomass as a new energy resource will be born.
  4. Biomass, giving rise to an abundance of nature (abundance of nature)
An abundance of nature can be created by artificially planting biomass on vast open lands.

About digestion gas

What is digestion gas?

Digestion gas is one of the fermentation gases generated by the anaerobic treatment of sewage sludge.
It is generally composed of about 60% methane and about 40% carbon dioxide, with trace amounts of hydrogen sulfide and ammonia.
Digestion gas can generate energy from what was originally discarded during the sewage treatment process.
The great merit of digestive gas is that it is energy that can be recycled.

Benefits of digestive gas

  1. Digestive gas that can recycle energy
By using digestion gas as the energy source for sewage treatment, it is possible to recycle energy resources.
  2. Energy resources that are not affected by the weather
Unlike solar power generation, digestion gas energy is not affected by the weather, thereby enabling a stable energy supply.
  3. The practicality of digestion gas
gas and digestive gas, which are now indispensable energy sources for daily life, have a calorie content of 60% and are quite practical as energy.
  4. The cost of the raw materials for producing digestion gas energy is 0 yen.
Since the sewage sludge that would otherwise be thrown away is collected and converted into energy, no raw material costs are incurred.
